The game originally released digitally with a limited edition physical release, but by popular demand, a physical edition called Sonic Mania Plus was released. While its follow-up made by the main Sonic Team, Sonic Forces, didn’t live up to its potential, Sonic Mania still remains relevant because of how much love and passion was put into it.
